On May 28th, 2010, Gary Coleman, beloved actor and musician, passed away at the age of 42. Born in Illinois in 1968, Gary went on to become an iconic figure in television and film throughout his lifetime. His breakout role came in 1978 when he was cast as the lead of the show "Diff'rent Strokes," a role that made him a household name. For the remainder of his career, Gary acted in television shows, films, and even did voice acting work. He was reported to have an expansive collection of Transformers toys and was an avid fan of the series. Gary is remembered for his approachable demeanor and tremendous passion for his craft. His internet presence as an internet meme also made him a recognizable figure to a new generation of fans. He is survived by his parents, William and Edmonia, and will be dearly missed by all who were part of his life.
