Freddie Prinze (1955-1977), beloved actor and comedian, has passed away at only twenty-two years old. Mr. Prinze was born in New York City on June 22nd, 1955. As a young child, he rose to new heights when he joined the cast of the television series Chico and the Man in 1974. His role as the titular Chico propelled him to stardom, proving his skills as a professional entertainer, and allowing him to showcase his quick wit and humor. He also appeared in no less than fifteen films in his short career, including The Wil Shriner Show, Saturday Night Live, and Toma. His commitment to making audiences laugh was not forgotten, and shows and films he was a part of are still highly acclaimed today. He spoke candidly about his experiences and gave a voice to the minority community as he shared stories of his life. Freddie Prinze will forever remain a treasured part of popular culture, and his legacy will live on long after his death.
