Fred Ward, 79, of Austin, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 8th, 2022. Fred was born in Edinburg, Texas on June 22, 1942. He was the son of Hector and Margaret Ward. He obtained a degree in accounting from Texas A&M and worked in the banking industry until his retirement. In addition to his career, Fred was well known in his community for his love of the outdoors and passion for hunting. He also volunteered as a Little League coach for many years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sheila Ward, along with his children: Lisa Ward, Richard Ward, and their families. Fred was preceded in death by his parents. In recognition of his life, many hearts are saddened with his passing. Fred will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
