After working at casinos in Las Vegas, he ultimately became one of the most famous figures in the city as a successful sports handicapper for three decades. He gained notoriety in the 1970s as the manager at Stardust Casino where he earned the nickname “The Man.” He distinguished himself in the world of gambling with innovative techniques like offering odds on which casino would get the most tourists and offering commission free games. Despite his incredible achievements, Frank was the subject of several investigative pieces. These uncovered the extent of his involvement in the world of organized crime, with Frank himself reportedly admitting at one point that he was indeed an associate of the Chicago Outfit. Frank was survived by his two children, Steve and Stephanie. He will be remembered for his success and influence in the gambling industry, and for his impact on the history of Las Vegas.
