Danny Kaye, who died on March 3, 1987, was a comedian, actor and singer known for his zany humor and his virtuoso vocal abilities. Best known for his role in the movie "The Court Jester" (1955), Kaye was one of the most popular entertainers of his time. He was also a devoted humanitarian, working tirelessly to raise money for various charities.
