Acclaimed American actor Cleavon Little passed away on October 22, 1992 at the age of 53. Little starred in many films, television shows, and stage productions such as the 1973 classic "Blazing Saddles", the 1980 film "American Emperor", and a celebrated run on Broadway in the classic musical "Barefoot in the Park" in 1970. Little was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on June 1, 1939. He was a student of the Juilliard School of Drama in New York, and was nominated for two Emmy Awards and a Tony Award. His clever and lively performances will be remembered fondly by fans and admirers of the stage and the silver screen.
