Christopher Plummer, renowned actor, passed away on February 5th, 2021 at the age of 91. Born in Toronto, Canada in 1929, Plummer attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England where he immersed himself in the world of theatre and performance. During his career, which spanned nearly six decades, Plummer acted in over 100 films and television shows, winning several awards for his phenomenal work in stage, film and television. Plummer was best known for his roles in hits such as The Sound of Music, Inside Man, and Beginners, for which he was the oldest actor to ever receive an Academy Award for best supporting actor. He was distinguished with many accolates, including an Emmy, a Tony, two Primetime Emmy nominations, a British Academy of Film and Television Arts award, and a Golden Globe. Though he will greatly be missed, Christopher Plummer leaves a great legacy of performances and memories for his loved ones and fans around the world.
