Chris Kanyon, former professional wrestler, passed away on April 2, 2010, at the age of 40. Kanyon, born Christopher Morgan, achieved a great deal of success in the world of professional wrestling. One of his earliest accomplishments was becoming the first ever WWE Triple Crown Champion, a title he held for nearly two months. Kanyon had a successful stint with the WWE, winning multiple championships and headlining Pay-Per-View events. He was also a two-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion and a two-time WCW Tag Team Champion. Kanyon was an avid fan of mixed martial arts, and he had a special fondness for judo. He was an avid student of the sport, and he was often spotted training in public. Outside of pro wrestling, Kanyon co-wrote an autobiography titled "Forcing the Project" which was released in 2005. He also appeared in several movies and television shows, including "ECW: One Night Stand" and "Bring it On: In It To Win It". Kanyon was a beloved husband, brother, son and friend who will be remembered for his passion for pro wrestling and mixed martial arts. He was an inspiration to many and will be fondly remembered by all.
