Charles Krauthammer, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and television commentator, died on June 21, 2018 at the age of 68. Charles was born in New York City in 1950. He attended McGill University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Political Science. Charles was a practicing psychiatrist before starting a career in journalism. His contributions ranged from serving as an editor of The New Republic to writing for publications such as TIME Magazine and The Washington Post. In 1987, he won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. Charles was also a frequent guest of Fox News and PBS News Hour. He was regarded as an astute analyst who held firm views on American politics and world affairs. His writings and commentary have been admired and respected by people across the political and ideological spectrum for five decades. Charles will be remembered as a formidable commentator, an astute political analyst, and a respected public figure.
