It is with deep sadness that we lose Carrie Snodgress. Born on October 27th, 1945, she passed away on April 1st, 2004, at the age of 58. Carrie is best remembered for her acting career. One of her first roles was in the 1969 film, Diary of a Mad Housewife. After that she went on to win an Academy Award nomination for her role in the 1971 movie, Diary of a Mad Housewife. She continued to have notable roles in films such as The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid, Murphy's Romance, and Pale Rider. Carrie continued to have a passionate commitment to her acting career after her retirement, founding the organization Interact, which helped young women reconnect with their true self and aspirations. Carrie will be remembered by her family, friends, and fellow actors and actresses. Her life continues to leave its mark on us all.
