Buckminster Fuller was born on July 12, 1895 in Massachusetts. After serving in World War I, he enrolled in Harvard University to study economics and engineering. Throughout his lifetime, Buckminster Fuller accomplished great feats, including the invention of the geodesic dome, the three wheeled Dymaxion car and the pioneering of modern lightweight structures. His work heavily focused on advancing sustainable design, constructing self-supporting structures and thoughts on renewable energy sources.
