Brian Keith, who was beloved for his television and film work spanning more than five decades, passed away on June 24, 1997, in Malibu, California at the age of 75. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Brian had a career that extended from Broadway to feature films to a variety of roles on television, and his performances earned him a Peabody Award, an Emmy nomination and an Emmy win. He was known best for his roles in CBS's "Family Affair" and for the series of films he made with his daughter, Daisy Keith, who he credited with providing the motivation to live his life. Committed to bringing joy and inspiration to others, Brian was a friend to many, remembered fondly for his kind and generous spirit. He will be missed by his fans and loved ones all around the world.
