Legendary philanthropist Barbara Sinatra, who supported a variety of causes, most notably child-aid charities, passed away at her home in Rancho Mirage, California on July 25, 2017. She was 90 years old. Born Barbara Blakeley on March 10, 1927 in Bosworth, Missouri, she later settled in Long Beach, California. Barbara was the fourth wife of iconic singer-entertainer Frank Sinatra, whom she married in 1976. She was an accomplished philanthropist in her own right, having supported multiple charitable organizations including Boys Town of Italy, Children's Hospital of Orange County, and Barbara Sinatra Children's Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, dedicated to the treatment of victims of physical, sexual and emotional abuse. Barbara is survived by her two sons Robert andJohn, stepchildren Nancy, Tina andFrank Jr., and grandchild Amanda Ervolina. She was always devoted to the welfare of others and will be deeply missed by those whose lives she affected.
