Anthony Bourdain (July 25, 1956 - June 8, 2018) died on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the age of 61. Anthony Bourdain was an award-winning chef, author, television personality, and a traveler. He wrote several successful books including Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly and the International Best Seller A Cook's Tour: In Search of the Perfect Meal. He was also the host of the Emmy Award-winning series, “Parts Unknown”, which aired on CNN. No one can doubt the impact Anthony Bourdain had on the culinary world. His passion and knowledge for food were translating in every corner of the globe. Born and raised in New York City, Anthony Bourdain quickly became a celebrity chef, appearing on many shows and speaking at many events. Throughout his life, he travelled to numerous places around the world, exploring and recommending different cuisines and cultures. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and all people who had the pleasure to meet him or learn from him. His legacy will remain and live on through his many writings and shows.
