Anissa Jones, 18, died on Tuesday, August 28th, 1976. Anissa was born in West Lafayette, Indiana, on March 11th, 1958. She was an Alaskan-born actress known for her role as Buffy on the television show “Family Affair.” She began her film career at an early age, appearing in other productions such as Beyond the Valley of Dolls and The Biscuit Eater. Despite her success, Anissa struggled with depression and succumbed to an accidental overdose. She is survived by her parents, Essie and John! Jones, and her four sisters. Anissa will be remembered for her extraordinary talent and the joy she brought to others. She will be greatly missed.
