Andrew Breitbart, the conservative news site founder and commentator, died of natural causes on March 1, 2012, at age 43. Breitbart was born in Los Angeles in 1969 and was a 1990 graduate of Tulane University. He worked as a researcher for the Drudge Report website before helping to launch Breitbart.com in 2005. A vocal and early supporter of the Tea Party movement, Breitbart became a popular commentator on cable news and talk radio. He was often controversial, but also came to be respected by many on the political right for his willingness to fight for what he believed in. Breitbart is survived by his wife Susie and their four children.
