Adrienne Shelly (1966 - 2006) Adrienne Shelly, the beloved actress and filmmaker, passed away on November 1, 2006 in New York at the age of 40. Adrienne was an actress and filmmaker highly regarded for her work both on and off the screen. She starred in beloved films such as "The Unbelievable Truth," "Trust," and "Waitress." She defied typecasting and played a variety of characters over the course of her career, quickly becoming a celebrated presence in the film industry. Outside of her body of work, Shelly was beloved by all who knew her, whether personally or through her films. She was known for her generosity and compassion, demonstrated both in her art and her interactions with those around her. She embraced the opportunity to direct her own projects and create a platform to share her narrative storytelling and artistic vision with the world.
