Music world legend Aaliyah Dana Haughton passed away on August 25th, 2001, at the age of 22. Aaliyah had burst onto the music scene as a budding teenage star with her debut album "Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number" and single “Back & Forth” at the young age of 15. She quickly established an impressive career that included hit songs both as a solo artist and extended into acting and producing. Her career was cut short tragically when she died in a plane crash in The Bahamas returning from shooting the music video for her hit single "Rock the Boat." She will be deeply missed by her family and numerous fans from around the world. Her talents will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her music, talent, and endless spirit.
